Now I remember why we don't use them anymore.
Because they are made of aluminum, the coldness of the drink transfers into the cup immediately. And this is where the inevitable heating of the drink with my hand begins. Ice cream is a cold soda that took less than 10 minutes to make. I'm afraid to wash them with anything other than a soft sponge as I think anodizing will do. Then they will be ugly too. It was a nice memory, but it will stay that way. I need to find a craft project to use or donate. Sigh.
