Review on Acer KG271U Abmiipx 2560X1440 WQHD Monitor: Enhanced Backlit Display, Model UM.HX1AA.A07 by David Nunes

I bought this 144Hz monitor in July 2019 but didn't use it until March 2020 when many of us started working from home due to COVID-19. This monitor has been used very intensively for the last 5-6 months, averaging 12-16 hours a day with no issues. Colors and contrast are excellent with no flickering or other issues. Netflix looks good. It's worth noting that the output is much clearer when connected to a 144Hz display port (143Hz as shown in my Dell Latitude 7300's display settings). This drops to 60Hz when I switch to my second laptop connected via HDMI. So to really maximize the display quality you really need to connect with a DP cable. However, I've used it extensively over HDMI at 60Hz and it still looks very good. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Really great performance at a price that will accompany me for many years. I'm also considering buying a second one so I can set up two monitors.
