This is a great choice for music/home theater setup

This is a great choice for music/home theater setup as I use it in my living room. I have previously had both ELAC Debut B5 and B6 in this role but I could not fit their Debut C5 center channel due to their size. I was missing the clarity of the center channel, especially with movies, so after careful research I decided to try it with the corresponding S35 center channel. I am very happy with the setup and will consider replacing these S15s with my surround speakers and buying a floorstanding speaker set for the front left and right channels. If you're wondering how they compare to the ELAC I was before I pulled the trigger, they're definitely on the ballpark. They have brighter highs that offer a new level of clarity for detailed sounds, although I would prefer the ELAC primarily for music. In my opinion, the ELAC is perfect for music, delivering an incredible soundstage and visuals for the money. I still really enjoy listening to music with Polk, but it's not as exciting as it used to be. If you use your rig more for movies, these Polks and their impressive center channel are definitely better suited. It has a very compact size and with built in mounting points it makes installation as easy as possible. I highly recommend them, especially for the money. I chose the S15 because I have enough subwoofers for low frequencies, but if you don't have one, you're better off going with the S20 for the bookshelf or upgrading to the S50/S55/S60 floorstanding speaker. If you need something for back surrounds, the S10 will likely suffice for most settings. If you look at photos of the three shelf models in this series, you'll see that the S10 is a lot smaller than the S15 and the S20 is slightly larger.
