I have Polk Lsim 703 flagship bookshelf speakers in my living room which I paid $389 each from Revain.com. The Lsim 703 was powered by a 165W Sony DTR-DN1070 and this system sounds great. I was looking for smaller front speakers to replace my rather large Klipsch front speakers. First I tried Polk S10s. *EDIT* Opening the back and poking around, I noticed that one of the tweeter pins was a little loose. I took it off, tightened the clamp, put it back and everything worked.
