I used this mask at the 10 hour Airsoft Event a few days after I bought it and it didn't fog up. Most I got was some sweat on the lens after hours of gaming, all I did was wipe it off with a rag and I was fine for the rest of the day. The holes in the mask are much smaller than the 6mm bullet, so you don't have to worry about the bullet slipping through. The field of view is excellent. Also, it's not that wide that I could see the crosshairs on the full stock MP5 but not on my retractable stock MP5j. I can also use the scope on my M14 with some effort, if you adjust the rear sight so that it comes up it's quite comfortable. I will also say the same about the mask, it is well ventilated and quite comfortable in my opinion. For airsoft I have used goggles (I never recommend them), ESS Striker goggles, JT Delta 2, various other goggles etc and I will say none of them worked that well. Goggles weren't safe, ESS goggles still let the bullet penetrate through the foam or from the side. There's a rubber shield in there as it's not designed for airsoft, although many of us prefer it for that. The JT Delta 2 offers no side face shield and the poor 180 vs 260 field of view that they have. Or at least allows us not to raise our optics so high that we can use them. So you are limited with or without a visor in the customization. Unlike my JT Delta 2 and other masks, you can remove parts of the mask to leave just the goggles if you wish. I will say that the anti-fog capabilities of a thermal imaging lens are excellent. At best, I have a few small wafts of fog here and there in extreme conditions. But they go away after a few seconds if I control my breathing as it only happens if I gasp when I stop. Which can happen to me a couple of times throughout the game day. Although another way to get rid of the fog is to move around just a little as that will provide more than enough airflow to disperse it. I got a fan for this mask for free from a friend that has hardly been used. The only real benefit is turning it on from time to time while we get ready for the next game to remind my friends that I NEVER sweat. It's hard to understand, if you get shot in the head you won't feel it. It is also quite thin and somewhat flexible compared to other full face masks. The top sun visor is great in my opinion, I've played on some very bright sunny days and not once did the sun get in my eyes and I didn't feel the need for tinted lenses. The images may fool you as they appear too small to use, but they are not as your eyes are slightly further back due to the glasses. Updated March 2015. Number of airsoft games and activities. I still stand by all the praise I gave him before, he deserves it and more. But let me add one more thing regarding airsoft, it's annoying, it's hard to tell the difference between a headshot and a BB ricochet off a bullet. wall, both are pings, but there is only a small difference between them. It's not really a big deal considering how much most fields dislike headshots anyway, based on my experience. I've never had this problem in a game, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. The worst thing I had was the referee checking me out by shooting me when I wasn't paying attention to make sure I called my hits, then he came and said I didn't come out because he just checked how he had seen the ricochet off the back of his head before, and I didn't report it. Told him I didn't feel the impact, pulled down the hood of my sweater and showed my helmet and that was it.
