Great switch but the lack of instructions was annoying. Let me see if I can fill in some of the gaps and simplify the installation. I'm not an electrician, but a quick google search and close examination of the switch and I was up and running. Each of the four screws inside the switch that the cable runs through is marked with an "N" or "L". Neutral and energized. You need to make sure you connect the correct wire from your cable to the correct screw. The side of the cable with ribs (the entire length of the cable) or other markings indicates that it is a neutral wire. When cutting and stripping the wire from the cable, make sure that the ribbed or marked side of the wires fits into the screws marked "N". The remaining wires go to the "L" screws. From here all you have to do is thread the wire under the screws and tighten. I hope this helps and I've saved you some worries.
