Beautiful. In case you don't know, Samyang is the same brand as Bower and Rokinon. These are the same related products with different brand names for different markets. I found it at a better price so I didn't care about the brand. For the extra money, I've opted for the latest version of the 35mm T/1.5 lens in case I decide to buy more Rokinon/Samyang lenses. If you're doing any sort of optimized focus-tracking shots, it's nice to be able to switch lenses without changing the focus-tracking position each time. What I like most about this lens.1. Aperture off. I shoot in silent mode with my A7sII, so it's nice to be almost completely silent even when changing the aperture. It's also good that I can switch between tabs without sudden clicks.2. The lens is solid. It's not all metal, but it feels good in the hand and isn't any heavier than it should be.3. The focal length is perfect and makes it very easy to focus quickly. As a test, I recently shot 90% of a wedding with this lens and was very happy with the results. The minimum focus distance allowed me to get close to some large portraits and decorative shots. At smaller apertures, it's very, very sharp, allowing me to get very good landscape shots when needed.4. Bokeh is beautiful. Very nice and soft. I couldn't get enough of this lens. I find it's great for barrel and target shooters because despite being a manual focus lens, it's fairly easy to focus directly on the barrel. It's also good for those who want to bridge the gap between still images and videos at the same time.
