2006 Chevy Avalanche Z71 4x4 - Uncomfortable

I heard noises, rattles, squeaks for a while and finally at high speeds I heard something similar to air conditioning compressor problems. I didn't feel anything on the steering wheel or the gearbox. I didn't have the pedals on the handbrake, I decided to replace them. One, or the original parking brake, had a pad that fell apart, stuck under another pad, and sometimes scratched bare metal. Replaced with these new rotors. A new pad had too much material, 80 grit with a sanding block to remove enough to install the rotor. The other shoe was ok, put it on straight away. It seemed like a lot of work, but no noise now, lots of parking brake. Not sure, looks cheap, next time I'll try another brand.
