Our house has a Lab and a Bichon who are both allowed on the couch. We typically covered the couch by tucking a sheet or blanket in and under the cushions to save it from being exposed to dog butts and excessive shedding (lab's gonna lab). This method works fine, but it is a sectional with a long cushion for the chaise, so it doesn't cover that whole portion. Not to mention it can get untucked easily, and the fabric just is not tight - not ideal. Saw these and decided to give them a test.Happy to say they work perfectly for our needs! The fit is perfect. Easy to throw on, just like any fitted sheet. It's nice that the entire chaise cushion is now protected. They are very soft and feel like nice quality. For that reason, I'm not overly worried about multiple wash cycles deteriorating them badly, but will update if that becomes the case. Highly recommend for L shaped sectionals!
