I am planning to replace my JetBoil Sol with this stove. Love the fact that the pot has a heat transfer system at the bottom of the pot, just like the JetBoil, but fits loosely and doesn't need to be connected/turned to the stove. Test boiling was very fast at room temperature, even with the canister almost empty, but I haven't tested it in the field. It's a few ounces lighter than my JetBoil Sol. The missing asterisk is due to the manufacturer's failure to indicate that the cap is not included in the weight specifications. In the case of JetBoil, they indicate which items are not in the specifications but are not. I found that to be true even though the oven weighed the promised 1.7 ounces. and the XTS pot weighed 6.7 ounces. As advertised, the final weight does NOT include the silicone cap which weighs an extra ounce.
