Thick and long with a slippery side

This is one of several brands and styles of gloves I will be using. And I used to like them a lot more, but lately I've noticed something about them that has made me like them a little less. These gloves are thicker than regular gloves. At 10mm thick, it takes a little longer for them to break. This is useful when taking off a glove or working in an area where the glove could get caught or tear. These gloves also reach below the wrist for extra protection when doing dirty jobs. They resist some chemicals better than others. And you can tell when they are reacting to a chemical. The glove becomes looser, it begins to deform or it tears more easily. The downside of these gloves is their grip. They're good when they're dry. But, as they say, "slippery when wet". They have no texture to help capture. And when you try to re-tighten the bolt or nut, or even with the help of tools, it becomes uncomfortable. They wash pretty well. But that doesn't help when you're working on something that's covered with something wet. Depending on the area of application. They can be good or difficult. However, because of their thickness, you can use a pair of gloves several times or more before you need a new pair. And only 50 gloves in a box. That is a good thing.
