Great toy, bad packaging.
My daughter loves this puzzle and I love all the small and quiet ones that can catch her attention in the car or at the restaurant. My ONLY complaint is that I wish the lid actually hinged or was left somehow so it could hold the parts in the box. We have several sets of Melissa & Doug magnets and puzzles like this one and I just don't understand how they can have such cool toys that are so well thought out and yet they don't seem to think about the packaging. We found a zipped pouch that was the right size for this toy and put it to good use. I only wish Melissa and Doug would provide an integrated solution when making this type of toy that is made up of small parts and is likely to be used - go.
