Review on GitGuardian by Richard Nonya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good solution that works seamlessly together

I like how easy it was to set-up rules, and how well they work with our other tools (Jenkins). We've been able to detect things we didn't know were sensitive before! It's still very new - there aren't many examples out there yet, but hopefully more will come online soon. There are also quite a few features you can use right away without having to learn any scripting language first. So far everything has worked as expected. Nothing so far. If you're looking into using something similar, definitely consider giving them a try. Our team uses Jenkins to build/deploy applications internally. We wanted to be able to have automated checks for what files go where. They do not require anything special from your system - just add gitlab repository URLs and then configure your own rules.
