I really need a slim designed car seat to create space for an adult in the middle backseat. I ordered this so I could do so. I gotta say I am extremely let down by this car seat. I was shocked because I've heard rave reviews from Diono users. The steel structure is great but it is very heavy. So this is not for the faint hearted. It does fold nicely for storage or travel. That's good. But otherwise I was very displeased. My biggest complaint is that the carseat angle is NOT adjustable. When it's installed, whatever angle it's at, well it better work because that's it. it leaned too far back when rear facing. The driver seat interfered. The passenger has to really adjust themselves to make room for it. I couldn't sit my granddaughter up more without purchasing an addition $20 pad to angle it to only one other position. That is absolutely ridiculous. There is zero customization. I also didn't like how the height of the seat couldn't become shorter. You can move the headrest but not the height of the overall seat. It's just too high for my vehicle. This seat is definitely for a larger vehicle, like a van or truck. It was not a good choice for my SUV. I am very disappointed in the lack of customization.
