It's been a few years since my last color inkjet all-in-one and I'm delighted with the improved features I've found in this Brother MFCJ805DW. From the first steps I noticed improvements that increase comfort. The entire LCD panel can be tilted up for optimal visibility. I love the fact that I don't have to bend down and try to read every step from an awkward angle. The LCD screen not only guides the user through the initial setup but also through various functions. The ink tanks are located at the very front on an easy-to-install side panel. The inks have an expiration date well into the future and the fact that they guarantee an average print life of one year means I'm less concerned about running out or drying out of ink just when I need it most. Another beautiful moment. touch is a label right in the print tray that shows paper direction and print placement. Since I mostly use white paper, I often forget what's on top and what's on bottom when using specialty paper etc. I also like the fact that the paper tray can be completely removed to easily adjust paper size. The Brother MFCJ805DW is also backwards compatible with areas I don't use, such as B. sending or receiving faxes. It also comes with an installation disc with drivers for both Windows and Macintosh if you don't want to download them directly. It took a few seconds to connect to my Wi-Fi network through the LCD screen. It found my network instantly and all I had to do was enter a password to get an instant connection. Brother Web Connect provides a temporary key number that you can use to connect to the Internet. What's really nice is that you can use the menu on the LCD screen to select cloud accounts to save your scanned images, including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneNote, OneDrive, and more. The copy and scan functions work well and items can be scanned from a PC. , mobile application or on the machine. I love it when Easyscan sends a copy to my email address. Documents can be fed through the document feeder, or the lid can be opened to feed fragile documents one at a time. As I have an old monochrome Brother laser printer I have already used the Brother iPrint&Scan app as well as Google cloud printing. Windows 10 immediately found this model as a print option. I love being able to print from mobile apps, a Google Chromebook and also from Windows 10. The copies printed by this Brother MFCJ805DW are quite good, both in PDF and JPG format. The scanned copies are excellent. This is a really easy to use all-in-one inkjet printer.
