Bad design, frustrated with changes

Sometimes I wonder about the process a company follows when creating a new design because it falls so far short of the mark. I've been using the old version (MX Wireless Mouse) for many years. It started to wear out over time so I decided to upgrade to this newer model. They really ruined this mouse with their new design! The biggest issue I had was the back/forward buttons on the left side of the mouse, which I used extensively on my previous MX mouse. I take a lot of photos, so I use these buttons to navigate and edit the photos. almost impossible to get. When you try to use them, you literally have to take your whole hand back to reach them, meaning you lose access to the left/right buttons. Even after my hand has moved away from the buttons, they are still almost unusable. due to many other problems: 1. They are hidden under a cliff/ledge that the mouse sticks to.2. They are literally pinched back by the side scroll wheel so they can't be found.3. They're super tiny and have a weird triangular, pointed shape that doesn't look like a snap at all! Your thumb ends up in an uncomfortably twisted curve when trying to access the tiny triangular "buttons". No doubt this will cause serious pain/problems with my thumb in the future when I leave this mouse, which I am not! I wish I could give it a ZERO star rating! This is honestly the worst design I've ever seen in my life. Why do companies take great design and ruin it?!
