I bought this bag to have a nice bag for my essentials. I usually carry a canvas bag full of small items and a few books so it was just my wallet, keys, phone, inhaler etc. I used to be rough with my canvas bag, I knew it was likely to break a bit. This bag has held up very well. There is no visible damage, although I was pinched next to sharp plastic I expected to scratch the vinyl, had some hard landings on scratch pads and general wear and tear. The strap has held up very well to daily use, even when my young children tugged at it. I assume the strap is the first thing to go as the weight of the bag is held by metal (maybe metal) clasps on each side of the wallet. The interior is mostly open. There are several very thin pockets, two fabric pockets on the front, one zippered fabric pocket on the back and a flat hard vinyl pocket on the outside under the flap. I really like this flat case as it can hold small items that need extra protection. The shape of the wallet does not change over time. I hardly noticed any deformation from use. When the flap is open, one side seems higher than the other, but when it snaps onto the magnetic clasp, it fits perfectly. The valve probably keeps them from snagging on my clothes and such. This wallet was more than worth its price and has held up impressively well.
