It’s pretty sturdy, and it’s thick. I didn’t have any issues putting it on my wall. I didn’t use any of the mounting system/tools. I put the board up using command strips. Easier for me if I want to move the board one day. Ive only used water and a cloth or a dry erase marker eraser on the board. The cork board is pretty thin so I used twine to keep from poking excessive holes. It seems to be self healing, but I can hear the pin go through the other side. Overall I would purchase again. I’ve recommended it to my sister and she’s getting it too.
