Review on Dual Row LED Smoked 3rd Third Tail High Mount Stop Brake Light Cargo Lamp for Silverado Sierra GMT800 1999-2007 by Kevin Young

After reading the reviews here I was a bit hesitant to buy it because everyone said they had leakage issues. I have an 04 GMC Sierra that I installed it on and it's sealed with no problems. I hit it with a garden hose and sprayed it pretty well. I removed the light but there was no water in the roof cavity. You have to make sure you move the capacitor to the side, otherwise the bulbs won't have as much space between the light and the metal. This is the only cause I could see. Or maybe they had a bad run? In any case, it works great in my truck and shines much brighter than a brake light. However, I will say that they post the update as useless. Actually I was a bit upset because it showed it had just been aired when I got home it was on the porch. So the lamp actually arrived relatively quickly within four days of receiving the order and works great, I would definitely recommend it. If there is any problem for some reason I will update my post for now, I am very happy with it. I installed it for about half a year, in the rainy season the sun has already turned it yellow. Obviously, polycarbonate doesn't have a UV coating.
