I've tried many coffee warmers and this one keeps the coffee warm in my favorite coffee mug. Annoying: 1. It has a pressure sensitive switch on the bottom so it cools down when you don't have a cup. 2. The temperature setting is similar to the touch screen of a phone. It is very sensitive, so you are guaranteed to be able to change the temperature setting by touching it with the edge of your hand when removing or replacing the coffee mug. If it's set to 5, you accidentally turn it off (and you have to press it 5 times to bring it back to 5). When it's off (e.g. with a bottle of cold water on it) you accidentally turn it on and heat the water. A pressure-sensitive switch on the bottom lets it stand askew on your desk when there's no cup on it.
