This is a pretty little dress. I need to secure the jewels with a couple of stitches. No big deal. I will steam it also so the ruffles lay down nice. My daughter is on the skinny side so this dress was a little big in the waist and chest. I would not go smaller though because of the length. Also upon first trying it on, my daughter said it was itchy.Update: My daughter wore this with a full slip to her dance with no further complaints of itchiness. She said she felt like a princess; that alone is worth any alterations I had to make to the dress.I did end up cutting off all the jewels and sewing them back on with matching thread (instead of the white it comes with). It took 15min. I washed and hung it up to dry. Still looks adorable.
