Western Orange Compostable Cling Film (100 Square Feet) is a more environmentally friendly cling film because it is compostable. As with most compostable products, you can see the difference. However, the statement on the box makes me wonder about compostability if not sent to a composting facility. I don't know about composting at my garbage company, so I can only hope it breaks with normal disposal. This film is thinner than regular cling film and I suspect this is because it is compostable. Although it's thin, it holds up very well. So far it's doing a decent job for the things I've used it for. The main problem I have with this cling film is the packaging. The slider is already attached to the box, which I really appreciate. I don't have to attach them myself and I've had issues with some of them being left on the box. The positive vibes I got from the pre-installed cutter were short-lived when I realized the tape was longer than the cutter. Hmm, okay, no one noticed the difference in length? With such a difference, it is impossible to get a clean cut. This defeats the purpose of having a tailor. The packaging also doesn't pull out of the box as smoothly as I would like. The idea of compostable cling film is a good idea, but it takes a bit of work to make this product a reality. These are small things that need improvement, but with so many similar products on the market, this one just doesn't stand out to me. Overall I have to say that this cling film is just average and expensive for what you get.
