First, I must point out an error that I think other reviewers have made. That said, unless my pattern of two different S21s is just luck, the fingerprint scanner works with this screen protector. You just need to fingerprint repeatedly with the screen protector and repeat until it works stably. For me, I only had to retake one fingerprint after repeating the rest. Keep in mind this is the second phone I've bought this brand's tempered glass screen protector for, despite poor reviews for both early in the product's lifespan. Both times, people claimed fingerprints didn't work. Maybe I just had a better experience than others, but I personally bet others didn't think about retaking their fingerprints until they worked, if they even thought about taking them off with the screen protector. If you want the fingerprint reader to work properly, follow these instructions: put a protective film on the screen, enable "pressure sensitivity" in the display settings, delete all added fingerprints and repeat the fingerprint. Capture your fingerprint twice as the primary fingerprint. Maybe press the glass softer the first time and firmer the next time. However, I have a small comment about the product. That is - its width leaves no room for error, but you can make a mistake with its height. The absolute precision required to adjust the width forced me to go through one of three screen protectors as I just couldn't get it right. I assume this is normal as there is a reason they sell multiple screen protectors in one package. A piece of advice on how to apply the screen protector. It took me a minute to realize that if you put it down slightly by pressing on the edges, you can easily move it to the right place.
