Review on πŸ“± OtterBox Reflex Series Case for iPod touch 4th Gen: Ultimate Protection in Black Plastic/Black Silicone by Adam Matthews

Won't last long

I bought this case about 6 months ago. It protected my iPod well enough, but it's starting to crack. The plastic case is cracking at the edges, it started somewhere in 3-4 months after purchase. It hasn't completely fallen apart yet, but a new case is clearly needed. I've heard a lot about the Otterbox, but the case shouldn't break after just a few months of use. Sure it's not going to be on a cushion, locked in a glass box, safe from harm all day, but I didn't hit it with my car or anything. It sits in my bag on the road and back from work where it can collide with my keys, wallet, or lunch box, but it shouldn't be enough to shatter the hard plastic case. Otherwise, I put it in my pocket or put it on the elliptical shelf at the gym. I drop it occasionally, but a good case should withstand short-term falls (seriously, I've probably fallen 5 times in total?). I am not satisfied. This case breaks and is not worth the money I paid for it. I want to buy something else. I wouldn't recommend buying it either.
