It would be nice if you could somehow hook it up with a single cable, but the kit comes with all sorts of cables you could possibly need. I first plugged it in to try it on a Dell XPS 15, which is really too big for these monitors, but the mount still stretched enough to attach. This laptop offered several different connectivity options. I haven't tried USB 3 daisy chaining between two monitors yet. This laptop had 1 USB-C and 1 HDMI so I used both to connect. The HDMI cable does not provide power, so when using it, you must also connect the USB cable to the monitor's USB-C port to power it. However, I got everything up and running in less than 2 minutes. On Windows, even the monitors were in the right position when I switched to extended desktop mode.
