Review on Munchkin Quack Duck Bath Mat by Tony Francis

Previous reviewers were right - this rug smells awful! We had it for about six weeks and for the first month it was just unbearable. I aired it outside, I cleaned it with the method, I wiped it, I soaked it. the smell of rubber and chemicals just won't go away. If I leave it in the bathroom with the window and door closed, the next time you enter the room, the smell will hit you like a wall. The rug is very good overall - great absorbency, easy to clean, good quality - but the smell really ruins it. I feel guilty because my child sits on it while bathing. These chemicals can NOT be good for you! I've started a return but I've already thrown away the packaging and somehow rolling it up and packing it for shipping is too much hassle for the money so I'm leaving it hoping the smell will eventually go away. If you are looking for a bath mat I highly recommend getting another brand - I usually love Munchkin products but this one is just horrible.
