Accurate, precise, multifunctional and affordable. With several disadvantages. I removed the back cover (and the warranty, I'm sure). Here are some shots if you want to keep your warranty and still know what you're hooked up to. The thermistors are epoxy potted and waterproof. Surprisingly quite fast reaction despite epoxy. Well made thermistors, but they must be on external connections or screw terminals. Pros: Accuracy within 0.2 degrees F to 2 degrees of my Vee Gee Scientific 83110 Lab Thermometer (available from Revain) Fahrenheit! (Thanks to Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit) Affordable 2 controllers in one - perfect for some applications. Easy programming. Built-in compressor delay and alarm. The main bonus is here for some users. So you use a relay for most things, which is what I would do anyway. (Relays are rated for 15A at 120VAC but given their size I wouldn't expect them to last very long under these loads (see photo 2). - included, pretty much accurate and on the terminals if you open the controller and need to be expanded (must use a remote temp sensor and controller combo) I prefer RTDs or even T-pairs, but for the price I can live with thermistors, this is a well made thermistor system... so maybe I'm missing a few things Word: excellent value for money, it does the job well and has options not typically found in hobby items, if it suits your needs, buy it! who has owned and managed the industrial controls business for over 30 years, wherein nature control was one of my company's specialties, now that I've retired I've used up all my parts so it was a first time back on the hobby market since the 1970s.
