Super bright and I love all the different modes. Very convenient for long projects and easy position adjustment. It can be difficult to press the buttons in some situations, but it's not a big deal. The only real issue is the battery life. At full power it lasts maybe an hour. I usually alternate between medium and low. The output power slowly decreases when the batteries die, and I still threw away a lot of AAA batteries. I've switched to lithium batteries and it's helped keep the power high for most of my work hours, but the time between charges is still short when you're using them for longer projects. I think it would be nice to have a charge port for removable lithium batteries, but I think it would add complexity.
