This product is great for whitening teeth but is very strong. Like many others, leaving my teeth in aligners sometimes causes my gums to burn and bleed - some people recommend covering my gums with petroleum jelly, but I find it too uncomfortable. Instead, I reduced and changed my treatments. I put some gel on my toothbrush after regular brushing, apply the gel to my teeth and leave it on for about 10 minutes. I'm still seeing results that I'm happy with and can avoid intense burning. **WARNING: This material can and will whiten any fillings or copings you may have on your teeth.
