I bought this dual UHF mic kit to use with a battery powered portable power amplifier (Behringer MPA40BTPRO). So far I've tried the microphone kit but haven't used it in the field yet. In a few weeks I will be using it for tours on the bus. It is also used for dance classes and events with simultaneous music. The description is not entirely clear in some places. It's actually better than I expected. The receiver connects to the microphones immediately, regardless of the change in frequency. To use the receiver with a camera or a smartphone, there is a very handy adapter for the mounting block. The microphones are of average quality, but are excellent for hands-free calling. I suspect that a professional singer would want to use a better microphone. Body-worn microphone transmitters have independent volume controls (this part is not clear from the description above). This allows two people to use microphones at different volume levels. In the case of feedback, pressing the volume up and down buttons at the same time is enough to immediately suppress it. I tested it with a Behringer amp while simultaneously playing music from an iPhone over Bluetooth. another input to the amplifier. You don't expect Bluetooth and UHF to get in the way, but I wanted to make sure. You passed the test with flying colours. The processing quality of the parts is good. They cleverly include a 1/4" jack to 1/8" jack and a 1/8" jack to stereo miniplug adapter. Various parts are supplied as a molded foam block in the box. I would suggest leaving this for storage. I'd really like the option of a small bag with handle to store components. It will be easy to get tangled up in headphones, mics and cables. I'll find it, but I'll keep the foam block, to use it with.Overall this dual mic kit is well made, easy to use and works very well.I think it compares well to the Audio 2000 dual mic kit which is 2.5 times costs so much.The Audio 2000 I used had better mic quality but the receiver is much larger and requires more setup.I'm not sure the difference in quality will convince me to spend more money if I have an ei Use a single power amp or one power amp with music or video at the same time. compact and easy to use.
