I've had a couple of 64 oz plastic pitchers in the last year or so and they're cheap pitchers but they just break every time I look at them. a young daughter trying to pick her up and leave her behind. I bought this because it's stainless steel and when I got it I noticed that the only handle is a paracord handle that goes around the top of the jug. I wasn't sure if it would hold because I was afraid it would slip off the neck of the jug and the jug would fall to the ground. I knew the paracord would hold, but I wasn't sure how it was wrapped around the pitcher. I use mine exclusively as a water bottle and it works fantastic. I would have liked the handle on the side like plastic pitchers or like your grandfather's stainless steel thermos, but even without that handle I'm giving five stars because the price is right and it's not. doesn't leak and it works absolutely perfect for what I need it for.
