Review on πŸ”’ Black Secrid Cardslide Wallet with Slide, RFID-Protected Cardprotector: Versatile Multi-Use Case by Mike Roberts

A reliable practical card holder that protects your cards.

TLDR: The foil is durable, easy to use and protects my cards. Not much to see but that suits me. I removed the bulk and put the money strap on the slider for everyday use. I only use most of it when I'm traveling or need extra space. It's still quite compact. I recommend. Just don't rush to buy from this seller as it took weeks to ship.β€”β€”β€” I've been using the Nomatic Basics wallet for a number of years now. I prefer a slim wallet in my front pocket and hate sitting on a regular wallet. The problem is that the edges of my cards wear out faster than they should in my Basics wallet. I went in search of something better. I tried the Ridge wallet as it was heavily hyped. When it arrived I found that the sides wobbled back and forth as the elastic flexed, damaging the edges of my cards. The same applies to dual plate wallets in general. I finally tried this. There's nothing to see, so keep that in mind if you're interested. It holds 5-6 cards quite well in the "Slide Card" part. The lever has a rough feel when removing cards, giving it a slightly cheap feel. However, the slider itself is solid and protects the cards well, which is what I need. I use the other part for "extra storage" when I need it, which is rare. I could probably get by with just the card slider + money band, but the difference was acceptable and the extra storage space is good for travel. When assembling, a strap is needed to hold both parts together. All of that is holding up well. I have not tested the RFID blocking as it is not a required feature for me.
