These pieces are pretty good, especially for the price. As you can see in the images, I made a snap frame for my prototype to make the prototyping process easier (file available on Thingiverse, search for thing 4768895). The AdaFruit SSD1306 Arduino driver works great with these modules. You can also control with any I2C device if you read the SSD1306 datasheet available online. Be sure to copy (or print) the specs from the description and save them along with the details for future reference. Thanks to the built-in regulator, you can operate and control it with 3V3 or 5V. pretty cute.
