Uneven base so it does not mount flush.

These arrived promptly. However the base of them is very uneven due to the casting process so I will have to grind them so that they will seat well on the unit on which I will mount them. As others have said, they are heavy, but that is not a problem for my use. I don't like having to do the finish work on something I buy expecting it to be ready to use.

Nice quality. We got the whiteCast iron ones first, but returned themAnd got the silver. In my opinion the white look better. The silver ones just look like they have been spray painted and have small paint bubbles but it matches our decor better. The bubbles aren''t that noticeable. They are really good quality and are unique looking so we are going to keep them. We are mounting them on a large piece of driftwood for a cool looking coat rack.
