Review on π‘ Nooelec High Gain (3.5dBi) 1550MHz PCB Antenna with SMA Connector for AERO - Inmarsat Patch Antenna by Bill Wieser
Not good for antennas at all
Bought to replace small L-band patch antenna (RTL-SDR blog). This patch works fine, but I was hoping this one would work better. I even bought a Nooelec SAWbird+ iO - Premium Saw & Cascaded Ultra-Low Noise LNA to work with this PCB antenna as the RTL patch has a built in LNA. Unfortunately no luck. RTL is 5-10dB stronger at 1550GHz. Come back. No need to spend money.
- Antenna has 3.5 dBi gain, 1550 MHz center frequency and about 66 MHz bandwidth
- Very expensive
