Because the metal gussets on my Honda Ridgeline truck have relatively small holes, I use tie down straps to connect them to the ropes - these are the staples I use to tie things in place keep. They are high quality and obviously very strong. I have no way of checking the carrying capacity, but even if it's half of what's advertised, it's more than enough. There is nothing special about these straps as they are virtually identical to the ones I have used. But they're half the price of the ones I bought at the local store, so they deserve five stars for being an inexpensive source for these belts.
