Review on ATP Automotive Z 258 Transmission Flex Plate by Esera Warren

Appears to be comparable to the original, although the ring is welded on and the original GM flex plate we replaced is a one-piece design. Before installing the flex plate I would suggest checking the bolt holes to make sure they are clean and free of weld material. Excess weld material around the edge of one of the bolt holes on the ATP flex plate. If I tried to install the screw with this extra material, the screw would be pretty twisted. I ended up using a Dremmel to grind up a small blob of weld and that solved the problem. They wonder if they check these discs before putting them in the box. I think if they did they would have spotted this problem before it even left the factory.
