yes so my dog doesn't like water at all. He never did but we put it on him and he was ready to jump into the pool on the stairs but that was about it. The cut of this vest is tight and won't slide down on him no matter how much he shrugs off the water. He likes it out of water because I think it gives him the comfort of a hanged man. He fell asleep with it on so many times I've lost count. He is always with us when we are in the pool just in case as he is an adult dog and doesn't like water but is clumsy and falls in the pool and barks at us in the pool.
