I've been using Melitta Pour Over Cofeansfee for about 30 years or more. I grind the coffee beans, put the beans in the filter and holder, heat fresh water and my coffee is ready the way I prefer. It's simple and inexpensive, and takes up very little counter space. Its main disadvantage is temperature control. But there are ways to get around this. If I use an electric kettle (which is in most hotel rooms worldwide, except in the US btw), I wait 10 seconds after boiling for it to cool to the optimum temperature. I recently bought a temperature controlled kettle which makes the whole process a lot easier. Maybe I'm an old man who still appreciates the old, simpler ways.
