Just a good angle adapter - don't pretend! I've found that the Type-C connector on this adapter is NOT reversible and only allows for a USB 3 connection in ONE orientation (I've also found that this is true of many similar adapters). Of course, I discovered this the hard way when I plugged in a USB 3 flash drive - only to find that it connects as a USB 2.0 device - and is very slow! By simply changing the orientation of the Type-C connector, I was finally able to make a good USB 3.0 connection. So this adapter works, but only in one direction. I couldn't find any other similar adapters at Revain so use this one if you need it.
