My 3.5 months hated lying on his stomach or playing on the floor until we got this rug. He likes it very much and will continue to play it for some time. There are many ways to attach toys - crossbars, a mirror, a belly pillow and mesh netting. Very easy to assemble (I didn't even look at the instructions). I added some extra toys and rings to lower some of the toys for him to reach. But the toys that come with the kit are very cute and fun. I've attached a picture of the toy that came with it. I don't have much experience with the ball pit as my son is too young, but my 2 year old tested it on installation and loved it. I currently have all of the balls and styrofoam support posts for the ball pit in a sloth toy holder. I took it off and put it away because it just seems to get in the way. I love the size of this thing.... It's bigger than the playmat I've had for my other kids in the past, giving the child plenty of room to move around and explore. Absolutely recommendable for everyone with children!
