Literally a few years I wanted to write a review about it. Shipping was fairly quick and definitely within the time frame stated at time of purchase. I remember that due to its size it was sent as a parcel and the driver agreed a delivery time with my wife to ensure someone was home to collect the package. He was kind enough to put it in my wife's garage since I wasn't home. The packaging was the original box, but each corner was wrapped with strong cardboard. The box was undamaged except for a small tear of about 1.5cm in the box. I wouldn't remember but I have photos from the day I received it. Unfortunately, Revain's image upload system did not exclude the file type for display. As for the functionality of the screen. It has worked like a charm since the day I installed it in 2018 and is still working flawlessly to this day. We use it about 3-4 times a week and we roll it down and back each time. The remote works well as long as you point it at the screen, and I don't think I even had to change the battery. has changed and there is no sign of anything failing. It really works the same as the day I got it. To install it I attached an outlet to the ceiling and then added two 2x4s between the joists in the attic to screw the screen. The screen was really light, but I needed my wife to hold one side while I screwed on the first side. The quality was and still is amazing compared to what we have used before. I have a BenQ Ht1070 projector and the picture quality was day and night after I installed the new screen. We kept the screen very clean. There's really no reason to touch it, which is why I didn't delete it except when I first installed it. We usually watch a movie and then immediately rewind it. There is no real possibility that it will be damaged or dirty. The only thing I would like to differ from the experience is the plastic smell in the first few weeks of ownership. It smelled like a cheap pool toy for about 3 weeks. During this time I kept the screen down and opened the window to let the gases out. I'd say odor is probably inevitable with anything made out of plastic or PVC, so I don't blame Elite for that. It's like complaining about the smell of paint. It is what it is but it took anywhere from 3 weeks to a month. At first it was strong, and towards the end the smell started to wear off faster and faster. I would leave the window open as much as possible during this time. Overall I am very happy with our screen and it has had a huge impact on our home theater experience. It's still cool to press the remote and watch the screen slowly scroll down. This is our tip for knowing that movie night is about to start and it's always a good feeling. I would definitely recommend this screen if you are looking to enhance your home theater viewing and experience.
