Pros: Lightweight, no heavier than a large skeleton pistol with no need to pull the hose Down stairs first job in. Still works with almost no abrasion Quick installation The neutral nail magazine is small and needs frequent reloading but doesn't sacrifice compactness/weight for nail capacity for my use fuel exhaust stinks honestly not a deal breaker just slightly annoying when using internal nails. costs more per shot. In the quantities I buy, the nails on this gun cost almost as much as bulk construction screws, about 2-3 cents each when fuel and nails are factored in. Although, to be honest, unless you go through pallets of nails every year, I don't really mind. It's also much faster than screws. Cons: Ear protection required, using it in an Echo Rough frame is brutal on your ears. In decibels, I don't know if it's louder than pneumatics, but a short, sharp, "shot"-style pop definitely makes a difference towards the end of the day. You have to buy fuel which I find a bit expensive but to be honest it's the cost of mobility and convenience. All in all, this is a great tool. If I was framing all day it might be worth installing an air compressor, but for quick day jobs or areas where hoses would be impractical this gun is essential. If only they could somehow reduce the noise while maintaining the same performance. This thing would have been a solid 5. Should have bought it a long time ago. More uses are found to break this tool.
