I really thought this would be the solution to my mailbox numbering problem but no. They look great (REALLY great), are easy to apply (I didn't even have to use a ruler or mark any lines to put them in a straight line in my mailbox) and are very easy to see from afar, but in afterwards my mailbox, less than 5 months, they are already curling, peeling and peeling. The adhesive is too weak to withstand real-time exposure to sunlight and other elements. They might last longer if used in a protected area, but for open areas you'll be looking elsewhere sooner than you think. I'm considering trying again with a different adhesive underneath. Myself, but I haven't decided yet if it's worth tearing off the backing and playing around with applying glue and trying to attach without smearing excess glue onto my hands, clothes and mailbox. I'm sure it can be done, the problem is how long would it take me to do it CAREFULLY? I have to be very careful and precise. If I decide to try it I'll post how it went.
