Based on the product images, I was a little confused about how it works. Basically, it's a cardboard decoration (cake, balloons, gift box, etc.) attached to a shiny plastic spiral. You unwind the spiral to make a long ribbon to hang your cardboard decoration on. They were pretty long! Mine was about four feet. I've added a photo of it hanging on my pantry door so you can see the scale. The spiral-shaped material makes the cardboard decoration jump up and down in a playful way. There is a little plastic loop attached to the end of the spiral which is a bit genius because it's also a hook and it's also flat so you can just stick it on the wall if you want. So at least three ways to hang it. I literally hung it on my pantry door hinge just for a photo. Because they are so long you either need very high ceilings or they hang them on the wall otherwise they smack people in the face when they try to walk. Theoretically, the metal coils could be cut shorter so that they don't hang so low. Card stock images are double sided and quite sturdy/well made. Printing is crisp and clear, and colors are fun without being flashy or tacky. They are stored in a thin plastic bag.
