Too bulky and heavy: vehicles and everyday life

I had back problems after playing basketball. So I went to Amazon and bought five different back pillows. This was the most uncomfortable. It is too hard. The best I have (Softeze), soft and comfortable, I use it when driving and I like it. This is the Nova I'm currently using on my home office chair as I write this. It's too stiff and uncomfortable and will most likely end up in the trash as I see no point in it.
