This is my first experience with a razor and I have to say I will not be going back to standard men's razors. The biggest reason for me has always been razor burn. I get severe shaving burns after every shave (I only shave my neck and trim my beard) but I don't get any with a straight razor! I've shaved twice and there was virtually no razor stick. Second, it's a lot easier to use than I thought! The grip on this one is good and it moves well, allowing you to get all the angles you want. If you've never shaved with it, be sure to check out a few YouTube videos so you have a good idea of what to do. One thing I would improve: Instructions for inserting the blades. It's actually quite simple, but it took me a while to figure it out. It has 2 swivel arms and they detach after you lift the small guard and then put the razor on it.
