Review on πŸ’„ Makeup Revolution SophX Ultra 24 Eyeshadow Palette: Stunning Shimmer Eyeshadow Makeup Set for Women with Pigmented Color Shades by Jenna Hernandez

Cheap palette. An update of Elf, but not as good as UCanbe.

First I found out that the palette I received is real - apparently there are fakes. The palette looks beautiful but when I received it I wondered why I bought it. Now I see. The colors are not as rich as in the photo. I consider a product good if it costs more than what I paid for it, good if it costs about what I paid for it, bad if it's useless. Price wise, I find UCanbe palettes sold at Revain for $10 or less to offer a better formula in terms of deeper mattes and creamy shimmers. I find fakes I bought unknowingly useless; Mattes have no pigment and shimmer is fine. This one is just fine. That's a decent value, but not amazing. I saw them on YouTube from a beauty influencer who collaborated with Make-up Revolution to create this palette. The samples she made looked great compared to the fake. It worked well for me with a primer and various application techniques. But good. For some reason the colors looked different to my eyes than they did on the pan. In general, it looks like cheap cosmetics. I just want to update my eyeshadow and find what I need. This one won't. So I'm not leaving it to make room for higher quality or better colors. But if you use, say, Elf, NYX, or Maybelline and are looking for something better, this might be a step up.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
