As a married widow, my daughter asked me to lead her to the altar. It was the perfect tie for my husband, my daughter's stepdad since 2016, to wear while he watched us from the front row. It went well with my sparkly dusty rose dress because the tie has a slight sheen and a soft pink color. The color was quite similar, and the thinner cut of the tie matched his thinner lapels. In 2019, it looks like wider lapels are about to make a comeback. However, since he already had this suit and narrower lapels look best on thin, tall men like my husband, this tie was a great fit. I appreciated his reasonable price for a special occasion tie that he would probably never wear again. It wasn't as pretty as silk, but it was an affordable option.
