My boyfriend and I love this dark blue duvet. It's always embarrassing when guests are in our studio apartment and our bed is so visible. But this duvet makes the bed really inviting. Our friend even said our bed looked like it just came out of an IKEA catalogue. It's very soft, not too thick and not too thin. It hasn't been in the dryer yet so can't comment on the fluffiness but I think it will hold up just fine. I'm not a big fan of fluffy comforters, but this one falls somewhere between flat and fluffy, which I like. The blanket arrived in a sealed bag. At first I thought they sent me a sheet but after taking it out of the bag it was clearly a blanket. This is perfect for our queen bed as it covers our sheets so well that it doesn't peek over the sides when the bed is made. The pillowcases are also very soft and they are amazing because they cover the inside of the pillow. This way you don't have flapping pillowcases that you have to constantly press to stay in place. These pillowcases are a perfect match for your pillows. The only thing I would like to say is that the duvet has VERTICAL stripes and not the horizontal stripes as indicated in the photos. Most images of this colored blanket appear to be sky blue, but it is actually a deep blue. However, we are very happy with this color and recommend it for adding texture to any bedroom.
